Based in Laverton North, our client is an industry-leading partnership focused on converting post-consumer plastics into food-grade rHDPE resin. We're currently seeking full-time Extruder Operators to support 24/5 operations (transitioning to 24/7). Flexible availability across day, afternoon, and night shifts is essential, with shifts typically 12 hours (8 hours as required). What You'll Be Doing: Operate extrusion equipment in line with quality and WHSE standards. Adjust, calibrate, and test machinery at the beginning of each shift. Inspect and test products during production, reporting any issues promptly. Follow work instructions to ensure efficient and safe operations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the shift. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to process up to 25,000 tonnes of HDPE/PP annually. What We're Looking For: Experience in plastics manufacturing, ideally in extrusion, blow/injection moulding, or thermoforming. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Commitment to WHSE protocols and a proactive safety mindset. Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude. Desirable Qualifications: Certification in Plastics or Polymer Technology. Minimum 2 years' experience in the plastics/extrusion industry.
