Summary Attix is Perth’s leading specialist in attic storage solutions, offering expertly crafted attic conversions, ladders, and ventilation installations. We're on the hunt for a skilled carpenter to join our growing team and bring smart storage to life for homes across the Perth metro area. This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in roof spaces and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work. You'll play a key part in transforming unused roof space into functional storage solutions that add real value to our customers' homes. Key Responsibilities Construct attic storage spaces within residential roof cavities Install attic ladders, roof ventilation systems, and associated components Work in roof spaces (pitched and flat) to a high standard of safety and quality Liaise with our subcontractor trades (e.g. electricians, plasterers, painters) to ensure seamless project delivery Transport materials from our Osborne Park warehouse to customer sites across the Perth metro area Maintain a tidy work environment and uphold our commitment to exceptional workmanship and customer service Qualifications & Experience Certificate III in Carpentry (required) Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential carpentry Experience working with both timber and metal roof framing Working at Heights ticket (preferred) White Card (Construction Induction Card) Valid Australian driver’s licence Required Tools & Transport Own tools (suitable for carpentry and installation work) Reliable vehicle and/or trailer suitable for transporting materials Skills & Attributes Strong understanding of roof structures and construction principles Ability to problem-solve and adapt to different roof types and site conditions High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working in confined roof spaces and at heights Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Why Join Attix?
