Summary of the role: We are looking for a dedicated support worker to join the friendly, supportive and positive team in Grovedale for a permanent part time position, consisting of 26.75 hours per fortnight. You will take an active and holistic role in providing support and assistance to people with disabilities within a residential setting. At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. The roster for this line is stated below: Week 1: Thursday: 6:30am – 9:30 am (3 hours) Sunday: 9:30am – 2:30pm (5 hours) Tuesday: 6:30am – 9:30am (3 hours) Wednesday: 6:30am – 9:30am (3 hours) Week 2: Thursday: 6:30am – 9:30 am (3 hours) Tuesday: 2:45pm – 10pm (7.25 hours) & sleepover Wednesday: 6:30am – 9am (2.5 hours) What you will need: A passion for supporting people to live their best lives, highly developed problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, as well as a desire to join and contribute to a positive workplace culture!
