The Singapore office acts as a hub for complex, cross-border matters across key sectors including funds, banking, corporate disputes, and contentious insolvency. About the Role As an Associate or Managing Associate in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution team, you will advise on contentious and non-contentious matters involving funds, trusts, restructuring, and regulatory enforcement. The practice covers the full spectrum of litigation, insolvency, and arbitration work across multiple jurisdictions. You will represent a broad range of clients including insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, corporate stakeholders, directors, and high-net-worth individuals. The work spans litigation strategy, regulatory investigations, asset tracing and recovery, injunctions, and enforcement of security. Key Responsibilities Advise on insolvency processes including liquidations, receiverships, restructures and schemes Act in complex commercial disputes, shareholder conflicts and partnership breakdowns Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations and regulatory inquiries Manage files and deliver client service aligned with offshore standards Support partners in business development initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region Deliver technically sound, commercially attuned legal advice across jurisdictions Practice Focus Contentious insolvency and restructuring Multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration Asset recovery, enforcement, and injunctions Financial services regulatory disputes Trust, fund, and partnership litigation Candidate Profile 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience in litigation, restructuring or insolvency law Admitted to practise in Singapore or another common law jurisdiction Experience advising on cross-border disputes, enforcement, or contentious insolvency matters Strong legal drafting, commercial judgment, and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with Singapore High Court procedures and international arbitration frameworks Exposure to financial services clients, insolvency practitioners, or regulatory investigations is highly regarded Collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering practical, responsive client service Offshore or multi-jurisdictional experience is advantageous but not essential What’s on Offer Gain exposure to some of Asia-Pacific’s most complex offshore disputes and restructures Learn from senior litigators operating at the forefront of cross-border commercial litigation Develop regional client relationships and build sector knowledge in financial services and funds Build your practice and technical capability across jurisdictions and special situations Deliver results for clients including leading financial institutions and insolvency professionals Thrive in a firm that values autonomy, trust, and long-term career development Grow your impact in a team committed to excellence, diversity and high performance Contribute to the firm’s success through thought leadership and business growth initiatives How to Apply Disputes Experience: Outline relevant litigation or insolvency mandates you’ve worked on.
