Career opportunity within Defence Industries 12 month contract based at the iconic Garden Island, Sydney NSW About the Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this opportunity provides you with supporting the corporate requirements of the business from a commercial perspective. You’ll be involved in the pursuit, assessment, negotiation and implementation of head contracts and associated agreements. These include Non-disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Subcontract Agreements. It is a requirement of this position that you hold a current Drivers’ Licence and be eligible to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance. You’ll be key to the delivery of our maintenance projects. What you will bring Demonstrated experience in Commercial Officer or Contract Administrator positions; Previous or current experience working with Government contracts; Proven negotiation and influencing skills; and Advanced skills in MS Officer with a particular focus on Word and Excel. About you You will be experienced in MILIS and SAP with strong computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite. You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
