About the Role We are seeking a Test and Evaluation Practitioner to support a high-impact defence technology initiative involving satellite communications systems for naval deployment. This contract role is focused on addressing a technical backlog of verification and validation tasks, ensuring system reliability and operational readiness. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with project managers to prioritise test analysis tasks Conducting detailed analysis of test results and recommending next steps Producing verification and validation analysis reports This role is based in Brisbane, QLD, with remote work options available. The contract runs from 28 July 2025 to 30 January 2026, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a mission-critical project. The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will bring: 4–7 years of experience in system verification and validation, test analysis, and commissioning Formal qualifications in Test & Evaluation and an Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering Desirable experience in project management, naval engineering, or SATCOM systems A Navy background is preferred Must hold Baseline Government Security Clearance We’re looking for someone who is passionate, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of accountability.
