Job Description 12 Month contract with long term extension options Sydney and/or Canberra locations Hybrid working environment Our Federal Government client is seeking a skilled Senior IDAM (ForgeRock) Engineer to join a diverse team dedicated to implementing an innovative new user registration process. As a Senior Software Engineer, you should have a proven track record in managing software development projects, writing efficient code, and providing technical leadership to a team of Software Engineers. Due to the secure nature of the position it is expected that the successful candidate is an Australian Citizen with an active NV1 Security Clearance. Key responsibilities: Provide guidance and advice as part of the implementation of the transformational new user registration process. Work with Departmental SMEs on ForgeRock component configurations, service checks and ensure service stability for current and future workloads. Design, develop, test & implement identity management frameworks, systems and protocols. Develop, implement and manage IAM systems including: SSO, authentication and access controls to ensure security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of IAM systems and data. Develop and manage patterns for application deployment that manage security at every level. Ensure that all procured and / or developed IAM systems are implemented properly and function as intended. Essential Criteria: Minimum 2 years of hands on experience with the ForgeRock Identity platform (including Access Management and Identity management modules). Experience working in a secure government environment (federal, state or similar). Extensive hands on experience with identity and access management, including: Open standards; Best practices and procedures; and Various software solutions. Design, implementation and maintenance experience with the ForgeRock product suite. Experience performing deployments in highly secure and highly available environments. Extensive experience in troubleshooting, identifying and resolving technical identity and access management related issues.
