Tell me about this role: We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Communications Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. You will undertake Design Review, Design Acceptance and Technical Certification of the Communications Engineering elements of Defence maritime vessels. What will I be doing day to day? Obtain and exercise a Delegated Technical Authority within the field of Communications Engineering Undertake Design Review, Design Acceptance and Technical Certification of Communications Engineering functions Review technical deliverables Data management and analysis Provide subject matter expertise on a range of communications systems Work with a wide range of stakeholders and build meaningful and lasting professional relationships Providing expert engineering inputs into cutting edge technology What sort of skills do I need? Experience within a shipbuilding or Defence acquisition position Experience within a Defence environment Bachelors degree in Engineering Strong communication skills Process orientated with good attention to detail Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen) What’s in it for me?
