Are you a detail-oriented Garment Technician? We’re working with a well-known sportswear licensing manufacturer based in the heart of Melbourne CBD, and they’re on the lookout for a Freelance Garment Technician to hit the ground running on a full-time, onsite contract for 4 weeks . (We can offer flexibility to 4 days per week for the right person.) This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a highly respected brand on a hands-on contract, providing key technical support across their development cycle. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the design and production team with fit comments, spec sheets, and sample approvals Collaborating closely with offshore manufacturers to ensure fit and quality standards are met Participating in fit sessions and documenting technical changes Assisting with pattern and grading advice where needed Managing tech packs and updates for accurate, timely handovers What We’re Looking For Strong experience as a Garment Technician within sportswear or activewear Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, fitting, and technical specifications Great communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment Immediate availability (or very short notice period) Details Start Date: ASAP Duration: 4 weeks full-time (can accommodate 4 days/week) Location: Onsite – Melbourne CBD Rate: Hourly (commensurate with experience) Interested or know someone perfect for the role?
