About the role The primary function of the Senior Manager- Strategic Analytics is utilising analytical principals and stakeholder management skills to develop and share insights that shape future revenue and audience development strategies for our artists. The ideal candidate should have experience supervising and mentoring other analysts but will be inquisitive & excited to consistently conduct analysis on their own using large data sets in SQL and Excel. We are also looking for candidates who demonstrate a solid understanding (or an eagerness to learn) of the culture that is currently revolutionising artists’ audience and behaviour. This role will work closely with other teams including labels and different business units to drive change and use of data. Preparation and delivery of artists and subject deep dive for brand/audience positioning. Work with label and business unit stakeholders in a consultative fashion to understand their goals and scope out analytical projects to answer their biggest questions. Identifying data industry trends, relevant technology advancements and keeping up to date with relevant music industry updates. Develop effective relationships with international counterparts to exchange insights and strategies, fostering global alignment and operational efficiency. Working with rest of the data and analytics team to develop new ideas including identifying data features that can become valuable pieces of actionable insights for audience growth strategies and developing a common data language to enable the business to make data informed decisions. Ensuring documentation of all processes, principles and policies is maintained and accurate. About you 4-6 years experience in a similar role at a creative company (preferred) Strong p roblem solving ability Strong experience with presentation and data storytelling Superior stakeholder management and communication skills Experience with extracting, cleansing and analysing large datasets using SQL A working understanding of data analytics principles Big picture, strategic thinker. Comfortable working in a small team, following self-driven lines of enquiry, formulating, and testing hypothesis and engaging key stakeholders to build upon the work.
