Field Service / Workshop Mechanic – Defence Projects Meadowbrook, QLD | ️ Full-Time On-Site | ✈️ Travel Across Australia Are you a skilled Automotive, Marine, Diesel/Truck Mechanic or Fitter & Turner with fuel system experience? We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive technician to join our team supporting a major Defence Sustainment Contract . This is your opportunity to apply your trade across a mix of workshop and field service work, contributing to projects that matter. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on modern Defence assets. Supporting Planned and Routine Maintenance programs, as well as ad hoc repairs. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and Project Team to ensure equipment is mission-ready. Travelling to various sites across Australia (mostly during business hours) to provide on-site support. Using your mechanical expertise to keep critical systems running smoothly. What We’re Looking For TAFE-qualified Technician or Mechanic (Cert II/IV or equivalent apprenticeship). 5 years’ experience in mechanical or electrical systems across various machinery types. Strong organisational and time management skills. Current Driver’s Licence (essential) and Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain).
