About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer with strong SQL expertise and experience or willingness to learn industry-leading ETL transformation tools . This role is crucial in delivering high-quality data migration and transformation solutions within the Superannuation domain , with a strong preference for candidates with Superannuation registry experience . An ideal candidate will have experience in data reconciliation and the ability to develop reconciliation frameworks to validate ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Duration: This is a 6 month contract. Location: Candidates can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney (Remote work option is available). Work Arrangements: Hybrid/ Remote Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines for data migration and transformation . Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to manipulate, validate, and transform large datasets. Ensure data reconciliation by developing robust reconciliation frameworks to validate transformed data against source systems. Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into efficient ETL solutions . Maintain data quality and consistency , ensuring compliance with Superannuation industry standards and regulations. Troubleshoot ETL processes, identify issues, and optimize performance. Key Skills & Experience: Strong SQL development skills (writing complex queries, performance tuning, indexing, stored procedures, etc.). Superannuation domain expertise is essential , with Superannuation registry experience preferred . Experience in data reconciliation and validation frameworks to ensure accuracy and completeness of ETL processes. Hands-on experience in data migration projects , especially in financial services or Superannuation. Ability to analyse large datasets , troubleshoot ETL failures, and resolve data quality issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
