We're on the lookout for an experienced Configuration Analyst to join our client in superannuation industry. Configuration Analyst with technical expertise in financial registry systems . The role involves configuring systems for new funds transitioning onto the platform, ensuring they align with defined business rules and operational requirements. Duration: This is a 6 month contract. Location: Candidates can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney (Remote work option is available). Work Arrangements: Hybrid/ Remote Key Responsibilities: System Configuration & Fund Onboarding : Configure financial registry systems to support the onboarding of new funds, ensuring all fund-specific requirements are accurately captured and implemented. Formula Development & Validation : Write and validate basic formulas within the system to enforce business rules and execute required financial calculations. Accurate Data Management : Enter and manage configuration values precisely, adhering to established business requirements and ensuring data integrity. Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand and interpret fund-specific needs, translating them into accurate and functional system configurations. Testing & Quality Assurance : Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of all configurations to ensure alignment with business expectations and operational readiness. Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve system configuration issues during both implementation and testing phases, minimizing project risks and delays. Documentation & Change Control : Maintain detailed documentation of configuration settings and apply appropriate version control practices to track system changes effectively. Additional Information : Deliver configuration fixes for registry systems and enhancing operational stability. Supported the transition of the second tranche of the Registry System ensuring system readiness and compliance. Implement functional changes for Funds , contributing to broader platform improvements. Qualifications and Skills: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in working with financial registry systems, including configuration and setup. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret business rules and translate them into system configurations using basic formulas. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when entering and validating configuration values. Problem-Solving: Experience in troubleshooting configuration issues and providing solutions. Communication: Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders. Experience: Prior experience in system configuration or implementation within the financial services industry is highly desirable. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with superannuation , pensions, or fund management systems. Basic understanding of scripting or coding logic to write formulas.
