This Director of Operations position, based out of Western Sydney, reports to the locally based CEO and involves working with a European manufacturer of Capital Equipment. With seven direct reports, the Director of Operations, ANZ , is responsible for leading, directing, and managing the Logistics, Spare Parts, Service & Technical Support, and Customer Service divisions. The goal is to maximize revenue and profitability of core products, achieve service levels, and operate cost-effectively. You will also provide leadership, direction, and support to Managers and staff, ensuring all agreed cost and service levels are maintained. You will work with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies aimed at revenue maximization and profitability. The role includes supporting the CEO on policy and procedure development, service delivery, performance, and business growth. The ideal candidate has a strong, extensive background in managing service manufacturing of Capital Equipment, with experience in guiding, mentoring, and managing divisions such as Service, Technical Support, Logistics, and Customer Service. A tertiary qualification (Masters, Bachelor, or Diploma) in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. A competitive package includes a generous base salary, 12% superannuation, a bonus incentive program, and a monthly mobile phone allowance.
