With the eventual decline of the automotive manufacturing industry in Australia, Venture Australia was reborn as Innovative Plastic Solutions. This rebirth allowed IPS to reset and refocus on a broader range of industries. All manufacturing has been consolidated to our 26,000m² factory creating a one stop shop for design, engineering and manufacturing specialising in plastics. We are searching for an experienced Plastic Technician to join our team. Key responsibilities include : Operate and maintain plastic manufacturing equipment, including injection molding machines, blow molding machines, and extrusion machines. Perform die changes and machine setting considering all moulding parameters to ensure accurate and repeatable production performance of all plastic parts. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, perform repairs and maintenance as needed, and ensure equipment is operating at peak performance. Ensure that all products are produced to the highest quality standards, and take corrective action as needed to resolve any quality issues. Monitor production processes, record production data, and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and productivity. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety and health procedures, and environmental standards and regulations. To be considered you will need to hold a relevant Certificate IV or equivalent and at least 1 year of related employment experience, OR; at least 3 years of work experience relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. This is a full time position, an immediate start is available. A remuneration package of $77,000 - $90,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
