Description The Business Coach at Waalitj Foundation plays a pivotal role in empowering individuals and organisations to achieve their business goals through tailored coaching and support. This position involves working closely with clients to identify their unique challenges and opportunities, providing guidance that fosters growth and development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to understand the needs of clients and establish clear objectives for coaching sessions. Develop customised coaching programmes that align with clients' business aspirations and personal development goals. Facilitate one-on-one coaching sessions as well as group workshops, utilising various techniques and strategies to enhance learning. Monitor progress against established goals, providing feedback and adjusting coaching plans as necessary to ensure continued growth. Support clients in developing critical skills such as leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, and effective communication. Encourage accountability by helping clients set realistic milestones and deadlines for achieving their objectives. Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and new methodologies that can enhance coaching effectiveness. Build strong relationships with clients based on trust, respect, and open communication to facilitate a positive coaching experience. This role requires a passion for fostering entrepreneurial spirit within individuals while supporting them in navigating the complexities of business management. Skills And Experiences Required skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in coaching methodologies and techniques Ability to develop tailored coaching plans for individuals and teams Effective time management and organisational skills Knowledge of business strategy and operational principles Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others Cultural sensitivity and awareness, especially in diverse environments Required experiences A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business coach or in a related role Demonstrated success in improving performance outcomes for individuals or teams Experience working within non-profit organisations or community-focused initiatives is preferred A track record of fostering positive change through coaching interventions Experience conducting workshops, training sessions, or group coaching activities Familiarity with performance metrics and evaluation tools to assess coaching effectiveness Previous experience in leadership roles would be an advantage
