Due to our continued growth and success, we’re now looking for a Payroll Officer as a part time to join our Finance Team located in our Welshpool office. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for payroll accuracy and compliance, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit, professional team supporting a dynamic workforce in the mining and construction industry. About the Role Process fortnightly and out-of-cycle payrolls, including timesheets, deductions, entitlements, and superannuation. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and industrial awards. Handle system administration and configuration for Wage Easy payroll system. Provide timely responses to employee and operational payroll queries. Maintain payroll records, rate tables, and assist in job costing tasks. What you’ll be doing Minimum 2 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll, preferably in mining or construction. Experience with rostering and remote workforce payroll. Strong knowledge of relevant awards, taxation, and workers’ compensation legislation. Exposure to ERP systems and job costing. Diploma of Business or similar qualification. Experience with Wage Easy highly desirable.
