With work well underway and multiple stages to come, they’re looking to appoint a confident HSE Advisor who can take the lead on safety and compliance across the site. You’ll be part of a capable project team and play a key role in maintaining a high-performing, safety-first environment. This role offers autonomy, support, and the opportunity to step into a more senior safety position as the project evolves. Key Responsibilities: Drive and maintain WHS compliance on a live construction site Lead daily site inductions, toolbox talks and safety communications Conduct routine inspections, audits, and incident investigations Ensure SWMS and other documentation are current and followed Monitor site activities to identify potential hazards and implement controls Build strong relationships with trades and subcontractors to promote best practice Work closely with site leadership to embed a proactive safety culture Key Skills / Qualifications Required: Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS (or equivalent) 3–5 years in a safety role within the construction industry Solid understanding of QLD WHS legislation and risk management procedures Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on attitude Comfortable working independently and taking the lead on all safety matters Previous experience on large-scale residential or commercial sites is a plus Further Benefits: Be part of a major Gold Coast project with several years of work ahead Work for a company with internal construction delivery and secure pipeline Opportunity to step into a senior safety role as the team grows Collaborative, professional environment with experienced leadership Structured systems, supportive culture and strong subcontractor relationships Email: jack.garrard@uniterecruitment.com.au Mobile: 0489 019 811 Referral Reward: $1,000
