Job Description About the Role: As a key member of our Pavement Recyclers paving crew, you’ll operate specialised plant and equipment (Wirtgen W380, Paver, Rollers) to deliver high-quality pavement works Duties Operate specialised road construction machinery Perform daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation Monitor and adjust machinery settings to meet job specifications and quality requirements Assist with manual labour tasks Collaborate closely with site supervisors, engineers and crew members to deliver projects safely and efficiently Travel to project sites including regional and remote locations and work varying hours based on project requirements Maintain a clean and safe work area and represent SPA with professionalism on all job sites About You We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the industry and keen to develop their skills in pavement recycling. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working on an asphalt crew Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organisational skills HC licence would be ideal A strong commitment to safety and best practices. A willingness to travel and work on various projects across Australia. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
