We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Advisor to join our Energy Solutions team in Brisbane CBD office on a permanent full-time basis and support the ongoing success of our energy infrastructure portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Contracting, you will be leading customer-facing commercial activity across APA’s pipeline and storage assets, managing strategic accounts, shaping bespoke contract arrangements, and driving value through every commercial engagement. It's a dynamic position for someone who thrives on complexity, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering practical results. Key Responsibilities Manage negotiation and execution of customer contracts, including negotiation, renewals, and approvals. Develop and implement tailored commercial strategies to support revenue growth and customer needs. Oversee handover to Operations and ensure seamless contract execution and service delivery. Monitor creditworthiness, assess commercial risk, and support regulatory responses. Lead commercial negotiations that align with business and regulatory objectives. Improve systems and processes, maintaining accurate contract records and supporting continuous improvement. Your Background Proven experience in commercial contract negotiation within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or similar industries. Strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills. Commercial acumen with an eye for opportunity, risk, and compliance. Able to navigate complexity across internal teams (e.g., legal, regulatory, operations). Comfortable working across both strategic and hands-on operational responsibilities.
