Well-equipped camp featuring ensuite rooms, sports court, and fully equipped gym to keep you comfortable and active while away from home A growing company that’s supports employee’s development THE ROLE Providing prompt and effective light vehicle maintenance support to our underground gold mines Evaluate vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose problems Review vehicle computer and electronic systems for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades Carry out regular maintenance activities to improve vehicle performance and lifespan Adequately adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required WHAT DO I NEED Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences Experience within a mining or heavy industry environment Quality workmanship with excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills A can-do, team-oriented attitude Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable Excellent communication skills A can-do, team-oriented attitude The Westgold Offer: A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer A range of benefits including: Performance based bonus Group salary continuous insurance A health and wellness allowance Health insurance discount A range of Family and Medical leave policies that includes IVF, surrogacy and adoption.
