Position Details Continuing | Part-Time 0.5 FTE Academic Level B |$113,211 - $133,974 p.a. pro rata Location: Mt Gambier, Renmark, Port Pirie View Position Description About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Occupational Therapy to deliver high-quality teaching across our programs. You will design and deliver engaging learning experiences using contemporary teaching methods and technologies, as well as contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and student placement coordination. A key part of the role is fostering evidence-based, student-centred learning to enhance graduate outcomes. To maintain clinical relevance and ensure current practice informs your teaching, you will also be expected to engage in concurrent practice within a clinical or community setting, supporting the integration of theory with real-world application. The successful candidate will be required to teach in one of our three rural locations that we deliver the Bachelor of Allied Health degree in, Mt Gambier, Renmark, or Port Pirie, and work with the teams across the three sites and with the team at Bedford Park. About You With a proven track record of excellence in teaching at tertiary level, you will have experience in delivering education in classroom, simulation, and clinical settings, as well as coordinating student placements. You will have independently contributed to the development, delivery, and evaluation of innovative teaching and learning strategies, including effective student assessment. A commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement in teaching is essential. You will hold a doctorate in a relevant field or demonstrate equivalent clinical experience and professional standing in Occupational Therapy and are registered unconditionally with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist. You bring a strong understanding of contemporary pedagogical theory and educational practices relevant to the discipline, and your ability to inspire students and adapt to evolving educational needs, will be key to your success in this role.
