Medical Receptionist/Administrator required at The Doctors Mulgrave Road Medical Centre We are looking for a Full-Time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join The Doctors Mulgrave Road Medical Centre to work collaboratively with our team, providing exceptional customer service to all patients, assisting health professionals and providing administrative support. Previous medical receptionist experience would be advantageous; however, candidates with a background in reception, customer service, hospitality or administration are encouraged to apply as on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate. Some flexibility is required to cover rotating rosters with early shifts starting at 7:30am and late shifts finishing at 5:30pm, between Monday and Friday, 38 hours per week. Duties include, but not limited to: Answering phones and professional correspondence Meeting/greeting clientele in a friendly manner Booking appointments on health-based software, assisting patients with enquiries and kiosk check in Handling patient enquiries, delays and rescheduling, over the phone and in person, including challenging situations Health record management - exporting and importing reports and other correspondence Liaising with Allied Health and other service providers such as specialists and aged care to assist with patient care management Understanding requirements of and liaising with Third Party stakeholders Providing administration support and assistance to our healthcare professionals Treatment room assistance to help nurses at times (i.e. sterilising, cleaning, stocking) General cleaning and upkeep of practice areas, adhering to strict infection control guidelines, stocking of supplies The successful candidate will have : Australian citizenship or permanent residency essential Current full QLD driver licence Intermediate computer skills and knowledge Exceptional customer service skills, polite manner and empathetic nature Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to remain calm under pressure and have a positive and enthusiastic disposition Outstanding organisational and time management skills, ability to multi-task Ability to show empathy towards others and a general desire to assist patients, co-workers and professionals A commitment to on-the-job training, ongoing learning and professional development Attention to detail and take pride in their written and verbal communication skills Willingness to take direction, follow procedures and work collaboratively as part of a team To apply please send your CV with cover letter Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted
