Develop and maintain comprehensive planning and scheduling processes to align stock availability with business demand and operational requirements. Manage timely order placement and coordinate with suppliers to secure efficient procurement and replenishment of stock. Oversee freight forwarding logistics to guarantee on-time delivery and cost-effective transportation solutions. Profile Service Centres and Mini Distribution Centres Generate detailed reports and performance metrics to monitor inventory health, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring product availability and responsiveness to internal and external stakeholder needs. Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining inventory processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. Collaboration Facilitate strategic vendor selection through cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business objectives and quality standards. Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal teams and external partners to promote transparency and effective information sharing. Collaborate in monitoring and reviewing supplier performance, leveraging feedback to drive accountability and enhance outcomes. Work closely with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring proactive and coordinated responses. Support continuous improvement initiatives by fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation across vendor and internal relationships. Data Analysis Perform detailed inventory availability data analysis to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations. Analyse excess and obsolete inventory to identify slow-moving stock and implement strategies to minimise waste and carrying costs. Coordinate inter-hub stock sharing initiatives to balance inventory across locations and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Examine sales history and market trends to inform demand forecasting, inventory planning, and procurement decisions. Drivers Licence Desirable Formal qualification in Frontline or Business Management at Certificate or Diploma level. Experience and Attributes Essential Understanding of supply principles and work practices Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Exceptional interpersonal skills with a reputation for positively engaging and influencing others Strong attention to detail and accuracy A high level of self-awareness and desire for ongoing personal development Desire to succeed, with an energetic and enthusiastic approach Good organisational & time management skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks Desirable Proven expertise in supply chain or procurement roles, with strong skills in data analysis, vendor management, and inventory optimisation within a fast-paced commercial environment.
