The Role This position will perform a variety of operational functions in the production of food, packaged and other food products in accordance with the organisation’s quality, safety and production standards. Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to; Understanding and adhering to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job function or assignment before commencing work Willingness to operate food processing equipment Occasionally handle meat products such as chicken, beef or pork Maintaining good housekeeping and a clean work area in the assigned work area Meeting production output and standards within agreed time Committing to and contributing to quality and improvement initiatives Responsible for supporting the plan to implement a site wide ongoing Food Safety Culture Plan Ensuring adherence to WHS policies and Procedures Other ad hoc duties as per directed About You You will have previous experience in this space, ideally within a food FMCG environment, however not essential. You will also have the following skills to be able to; Read, analyse and interpret instructions relating to the job function or assignment Excellent communication skills both verbal and written A reasonable level of mechanical aptitude.
