Manager or Senior Manager - Business Services & Advisory - Melbourne This is a great opportunity for a driven Manager or Senior Manager in Business Services to step into a high-performing, people-first national firm that’s continuing to grow across Melbourne. You’ll be managing a quality portfolio of clients across private SMEs, family groups, and high-net-worth individuals, with real exposure to strategic advisory work. This isn’t a compliance-only role. You’ll be involved in everything from structuring and planning through to cash flow management, due diligence and broader consulting. The Partners here are approachable and hands-on, and you’ll have clear runway to Director. What you’ll be doing • Managing client relationships and acting as the key point of contact across a range of industries • Reviewing complex financial statements, tax returns and consolidated accounts • Leading strategic conversations around tax planning, structuring and business performance • Mentoring junior and intermediate staff and contributing to team leadership • Supporting advisory projects including virtual CFO, FBT, CGT and Division 7A matters • Coordinating with internal tax specialists where appropriate • Overseeing workflow, budgeting and job scope management • Contributing to business development activity and growing your external network. What they’re looking for • CA or CPA qualified, with prior experience in a business services or advisory role within public Practice • Experience managing a portfolio of SME and private clients • Comfortable working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders • A strong communicator who can simplify complex technical issues • A natural coach and mentor to junior team members • Proactive, commercially minded, and solutions-focused.
