The Role The Planner plays a crucial role in efficiently organising planned works to align with UGL and client deadlines, optimising the utilisation of UGL workforce, trades, and associated resources. By crafting appropriate work schedules, the Senior Planner enables supervisors to achieve high levels of utilisation, minimising downtime and ensuring ample resources for substantial projects. What you’ll be doing Timely communication of the schedule to keep all key stakeholders well-informed. Interface with client ERP systems to gather service order details and plan jobs for efficiency and minimal customer outages. Prepare comprehensive job packs covering priorities, safety requirements, materials, and client details to ensure project continuity. Consult with stakeholders including landowners, councils, and government authorities to secure permits and authorisations. Collaborate with Program Managers to maintain quality, schedule audits, and assess performance metrics effectively. About You Demonstrated ability in distribution powerline project planning and efficient scheduling utilising project management methodologies.
