Employing a large fleet of trucks on a daily run schedule, they are looking for an experienced payroll and billings champion to support their operations team. Working in a Monday - Friday, 38hour week capacity, the successful applicant will have an opportunity to manage their areas of expertise, and become a valuable, long term member of the team. The role: 5 days/wk (flexible start time from 7-8.30am) 38 hour week Pay rate $33.70/hr Newport location ASAP start Role responsibilities: Taking on the weekly payroll cycle of all company employees, some automated and some manual processing required. Learning the weekly cycle of billing and working within the timeframes to have the process completed every week Some Accounts Receivable activities (no accounts payable required) Generating and presenting reports Creating presentations for team members when required Using the inhouse accounting software and learning all the customised applications used to track the activity of the busy operations Other ad hoc administration activities as required About you: Proven experience in a payroll position with a strong understanding of all elements of a successful pay run Billing experience and ability to manage a process with a mix of automation and manual elements Proficiency using inhouse software systems and confidence in learning new technologies and processes Self-motivated and able to understand multiple priorities and manage them accordingly without the need for constant supervision Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines Ability to work as part of a team and take accountability for particular tasks License and reliable form of transport Unlimited working rights in Australia If you feel this job is for you, then please APPLY NOW and join the Flexi Personnel team!
