Description This is a rare opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to step into a strategic and hands-on leadership role. As People & Culture Lead, you'll partner with senior leaders to deliver the People Plan-Driving initiatives across the employee life-cycle, embedding inclusive practices, and supporting a values-led, high-performing culture. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the organisation's people and culture strategy to align with business objectives. Lead recruitment, on-boarding, and retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent. Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Oversee the design and delivery of training and development programs to enhance staff skills. Implement performance management frameworks to drive accountability and excellence. Collaborate with senior leadership to foster a culture of inclusivity and engagement. Manage HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated. Monitor and report on key HR metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Profile You will bring strong HR generalist experience, with exposure to leadership or management experience. You have a solid understanding of employment law, including the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards. Your background includes experience in employee relations, performance management, and policy development. You approach challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and can confidently manage competing priorities. Your communication and stakeholder engagement skills are excellent, allowing you to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in human resources or a related discipline, and you're passionate about creating inclusive, values-led workplaces. Experience in sport, fitness, or community-focused organisations would be highly regarded.
