Duties/Responsibilities: The position of Painter/Blaster requires the applicant to perform to a high standard, paint coatings and other tasks relative to painting of mining equipment vehicle, heavy transportation vehicles and structural steel. To be considered for this position, you should meet the following essential requirements. • Previous experience as a Painter/Blaster. • Knowledge of different surface preparation and coating techniques. • Ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures. • Strong attention to detail and quality. • Willingness to work in physically demanding environments. • Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE To perform this job role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of 2-3 years painting/blasting experience. The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those an employee would be expected to perform while carrying out the essential functions of this job. COMMON TASKS Applying various protective coatings, including epoxies, urethanes, and other paint systems. Good communication skill. Maintain proper application and clean equipment.
