Besides specialising in table grapes, we grow and export citrus, mangos, cherries, and stone fruits. The business is seeking for a Small Engine Mechanic and a Machinery Supervisor. About the roles Duties/Responsibilities: For Small Engine Mechanic Detecting and diagnosing faults in small engines such as lawn mowers, blowers, pumps, chainsaws, garden tractors and generators. Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components after that. Scheduling and performing maintenance plan including regularly changing oil, gapping sparkplugs and cleaning air filters. Testing and adjusting mechanical parts. Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner. Provide consultation on suitable maintenance and preventative measures to cut down maintenance cost. Ensuring all work carried out is undertaken safely and to the highest quality standard. Duties/Responsibilities: For Machinery Supervisor Inspect machinery and equipment periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance Operate different types of machines and equipment Observe machine operations and evaluate product quality thereby ensuring conformity to standards Supervise and coordinate employees who operate machines Schedule, allocate and oversee the work Ensure proper machine operation and finished products meet company specifications Monitor and evaluate production records Report on production results, keep records of machine’s faults, interventions or irregularities Ensure adherence to quality standards as well as health and safety regulations Maintain inventory of machine parts Benefits and perks An attractive remuneration package ($75,000 – $100,000) will be rewarded to the right candidate depends on experiences. Skills and experiences Ideal Candidate must be: Relevant qualifications or previous experience in a similar role Strong planning, scheduling and problem solving skills High attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work effectively A detail-oriented leader who can meet deadlines and work with diverse employees Possess the ability to work independently, with little or no supervision Ability in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools. Have intermediate or above computer skills. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
