Nextt is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join an existing care team providing daily assistance to an individual living with complex physical needs in Merewether. Support Duties Include: Hoist transfers Personal care Bowel and catheter care Meal preparation Transport assistance Current Support Schedule: Daytime Support: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday, Sunday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM Evening Support: Monday to Sunday: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM Shift Availability – Position to Fill: Week 1: Monday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Saturday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM Week 2: Saturday: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM Pay Rates – SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual (before tax) Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday): $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 Requirements: Current First Aid and CPR certificates Current Driver’s License NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check (if applicable) Desirable: Experience with personal and complex care Comfortable with bowel and catheter care Ability to work independently and reliably If you meet the above criteria and are looking to join a supportive, client-focused team, please get in touch to discuss this opportunity further.
