About the Role: This is not your average desk job — it’s all about getting out into the community, meeting new people, and sparking career pathways for the next generation of landscaping and horticulture professionals. As a Talent Engagement Coordinator, you’ll take the lead in forging strong connections with local sporting clubs and high schools, introducing the exciting opportunities our business offers and matching the right talent to our clients rapidly growing teams. You’ll be the friendly face that future apprentices and casual staff get to know, trust, and rely on. Key Responsibilities: Identify, build, and manage a live database of local high schools and sporting clubs. Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings, building genuine partnerships with school and club contacts. Represent the company at career expos, field days, and industry events — creating awareness and excitement about apprentice and work opportunities. Coordinate work trials and recruitment activities, supporting candidates as they start their journey. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the best possible onboarding experiences for new starters. Utilise social media and digital channels to reach and engage potential candidates. About You: Relatable and polished — the kind of person people gravitate towards; you connect with young people easily and genuinely. Confident communicator: you enjoy face-to-face chats, presenting, and making things happen. Highly organised, self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Experience with stakeholder engagement, community outreach, or recruitment is a big plus. Skilled with social media and digital communication. Happy to attend regular offsite meetings and events (driver’s license preferred).
