The Role Based at the Bayswater branch in WA and reporting to the Area Manager, this is a hands-on role maintaining, servicing, and repairing mechanical rental equipment—with a focus on diesel/gas generators, compressed air, and temperature control systems. You will work independently both on-site and, in the workshop, responsible for keeping critical equipment running at peak performance. Whether you’re performing routine servicing or attending urgent breakdowns, your mechanical skills and customer focus will be valued and rewarded. Key Responsibilities • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel- and gas-powered generators and associated equipment • Fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting mechanical issues • Installing and commissioning rental generator and temperature control equipment on customer sites • Preparing equipment for dispatch including inspections, documentation, and loading/unloading • Completing detailed service reports, ordering parts, and contributing to stock management • Maintaining compliance with workplace safety and driving a positive safety culture • Assisting with minor overhauls, welding, painting, and general fleet maintenance as required • Collaborating with team members to improve processes and operational efficiency Hours Full-time permanent role | Monday to Friday | Overtime available | Travel to client sites required Key Requirements • Mechanical trade qualification – Fitter or Diesel (Australian recognised) • Experience working with diesel- and gas-powered generators or similar mechanical equipment • Current Australian driver’s licence • Forklift licence (desirable) • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills • Competent with basic computer systems and record keeping • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work autonomously • Strong communication skills and professional approach with customers Key Benefits • Hourly rate based on experience super fully maintained service vehicle overtime • Work for a global organisation with strong local leadership and support • Structured onboarding and technical development • Autonomy, variety, and the ability to take ownership of your work • Modern facilities, supportive team environment, and on-site parking • Bayswater, WA with regional work offering variety in your day-to-day To apply online please click on the apply link and send your resume in WORD format.
