What’s On Offer: Permanent full-time position 9-day fortnight with early Friday knock-offs Stable, long-term employment in a clean, modern workshop Training provided for unique electrical rail systems Onsite parking in Sumner Park A workplace that values experience and precision over speed and pressure About the Role: As an Electrical Technician , you’ll join the service and maintenance team specialising in high-voltage rail components. Your core tasks will include: Servicing and overhauling Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCBs), surge arrestors, and other 25kV rail systems Testing, diagnosing, and refurbishing assemblies using OEM-specific components Using electrical testing tools for both static and dynamic checks Ensuring compliance with electrical safety procedures and quality standards Accurately documenting all work via SAP, Excel, and other internal systems What We’re Looking For: Electrical Qualification (essential) – Certificate III in Electrical Fitting Strong attention to detail and confidence with delicate, electrical componentry Experience working on electrical systems, testing, and diagnostics A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to learn from a well-established team Capability to follow procedures in a structured, process-driven environment Desirable (but not essential): Experience working on rail or rolling stock systems Familiarity with electrical cabinet wiring or rail signalling equipment Prior use of SAP or similar maintenance systems Important Notes: You must have full Australian working rights A pre-employment medical will be required prior to onboarding Apply Today!
