We have an opportunity for an Operations Improvement Specialist to work with a mining client and lead site improvement projects. In this role, you’ll drive site-wide improvements by streamlining processes and introducing smart tech solutions. This role is ideal for someone who’s proactive, analytical, and thrives in collaborative environments. Key Responsibilities Process Analysis & Optimization Development of current state business process models Conduct detailed reviews of current state business process models and work procedures across operations teams to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Develop of future state business process models incorporating operating concepts and principles. Implementation of streamlined processes that enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Technology Integration Data & Performance Management Lead and support operational improvement projects from ideation through execution. Stakeholder Engagement Skills & Qualifications 3 years experience with improvement projects and 2 years on-site experience (mine site, industrial facility, process plant or smelter, etc) Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, IT, or related fields. Proven experience in operational improvement, business process reengineering, or Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with process modelling tools, enterprise architecture tools, OT systems, and data visualization platforms.
