ABOUT THE ROLE: • Location: Morwell • Full-Time Position • Monday – Friday (8:45 am – 5:30 pm) • Pay rate at Level 3 • No weekends or public holidays • A Work with Children Check is required • Previous experience in security is highly desirable. Wilson Security is expanding in the VIC, securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the region. This growth has created new roles within our team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients. These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate computer systems efficiently to carry out a variety of gatehouse duties • Monitor site activities through CCTV surveillance and maintain a high level of vigilance • Ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors on site by enforcing site rules and procedures • Write accurate incident reports and follow up on any actions or issues in a timely manner • Provide clear, constant communication using two-way radios and other systems • Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support overall site security and operations WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • Australian Citizen or Full working rights in Australia • Valid Victorian Security licence and First Aid Certificate • Current valid Driver’s license (Have your own transport) • Valid Working with Children Check • Proven experience in the security industry, ideally in government or sensitive environments • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage professionally with staff, visitors, and stakeholders • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Advanced computer literacy and the ability to use a security and access control system Wilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
