As the Product owner Intel & Attack Technology, you will manage a squad which delivers solutions and cyber products across attack, cybercrime and penetration testing capabilities. Working with peers in Security operations centre and key partners across technology within CBA. This role will see you become part of the Cyber Defence and Security Integration crew, and a part of the wider Group Security domain. Your impact and contribution: Set and define the product strategy, vision, goals, and roadmap in alignment with Crew objectives and purpose, engaging with key stakeholders to coordinate technical delivery. Define the technology and architecture roadmap supporting the product, ensuring alignment with Crew Tech Lead objectives, minimizing technical debt, and facilitating efficient value delivery. Evaluate technology improvements and prioritise tasks that contribute to future value flow. Apply both delivery and engineering knowledge to manage the backlog by balancing features, defects, debts, and risks to support platform health, future work, and current customer requirements. Guide the team in adopting modern solutions, with a focus on cloud and software-based approaches. Approve technology solutions as required. Manage technology risk, including issues such as end-of-support (EOS) and vulnerabilities. Draft and oversee quarterly planning documents, technology crew memos, and maintain and prioritise the technology team’s backlog. Address technology escalations. Participate in audit processes and collaborate with service management to incorporate audit findings into the appropriate backlogs. Oversee renewals for licensing and contracts. Ensure technical delivery is consistent with the broader engineering strategy and direction. Identify, communicate, and manage risks, dependencies, and compliance across multiple work streams. Monitor squad performance relative to defined outcomes. Support product exploration, validation of product strategy, and design of technical solutions to complex challenges. Demonstrate and encourage best practices and a learning-oriented culture to support strategic development, coaching, and skill-building.
