Description We are currently seeking experienced excavator operators for an immediate start. Candidates must be highly motivated, reliable, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. This is a casual position with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position for the right candidate. Skills And Experiences Duties & Responsibilities Operate excavators safely and efficiently in rail and civil construction environments Perform trenching, backfilling, and material handling tasks Work around live rail tracks and adhere to strict safety protocols Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery Collaborate with site supervisors and ground crews to ensure project timelines are met Follow all site-specific and rail safety procedures Must have Valid Excavator Operator ticket (RIIMPO320F or equivalent) Rail industry tickets – RIW, QR WET, SARC White Card (Construction Induction) Experience working in or around rail corridors (preferred) Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Current driver’s license (HR or MR license preferred) Over 12mths experience What’s on Offer Competitive hourly rates with penalties and allowances Opportunities for weekend and working away from home Short-term and Long-term projects with potential for full-time conversion Supportive team environment with a strong safety culture Career development across multiple business divisions Apply Now!
