Your Role As the Psychiatrist at IHL, you will: Deliver high-quality psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a broad range of presentations, including but not limited to trauma, mood disorders, eating disorders, and neurodivergence. Be competent and skilled in working with neurodivergent presentations, including providing diagnostic assessments and tailored interventions for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Collaborate closely with Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists to develop and implement integrated treatment plans. Play a key role in shaping IHL’s psychiatric service, with opportunities to develop areas of special interest and contribute to service innovation. Selection Criteria Full registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number. Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric assessment and treatment across a broad range of mental health conditions, including trauma, mood disorders, and eating disorders. Competency and experience working with neurodivergent presentations (highly regarded). Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary, and client-centred care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, professional, and client-focused approach. A proactive and flexible approach to meeting the evolving needs of the practice and clients.
