About the role: The Executive Officer has responsibility for the processes, tasks and activities that support and ensure the effectiveness and impact of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, External Relations & Partnerships. The role is a member of the Executive Services team within the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and reportsdirectly to the Senior Executive Officer. As the Executive Officer, you will be part of a highly collaborative team, working closely with the Senior Advisor to support Deputy Vice-Chancellor, External Relations & Partnerships priorities. About the person: Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the professionalism and discretion required to support executive-level leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to develop and implement sound solutions, alongside a focus on continuous business improvement. Highly developed skills in all aspects of the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to support the creation of content that enables VU’s complete digital footprint. Responsive, with the ability to deal with a high volume workload, competing priorities and unexpected events, ensuring tasks are completed on time. Collaborative working approach and a keen team player.
