Job Description A rare opportunity now exists for a dynamic, driven “ Hands-on” Manager for our Classic Throttle Shop (CTS) in North Sydney. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the success of the site. Leading by example, your responsibilities will include selling & helping to source both modern luxury and classic used vehicles, as well as meeting budgets, targets, and promotions that enable the CTS team to exceed their targets and meet customer expectations. Reporting to the State General Manager and Dealer Principal you will drive personal sales and overall site success, ensuring profitability, compliance, statistical reporting, customer retention, and meeting performance standards aligned with the group's key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will inspire and lead the CTS team to excel in their roles and achieve their objectives utilising all the latest technology, and applications including a well-tested process, including video presentations for interstate and overseas clients. Duties & Responsibilities Sales: Lead by example in nurturing existing CTS relationships while attracting new opportunities - selling and delivering the country’s finest vehicles. Collaborate and communicate closely with the supporting group management team to achieve business objectives and enhance retail profitability according to the annual budget. Monitor a detailed overview of the sales department's daily operations, including sales inquiries, lead qualification, pipeline management, negotiations, deal offerings, sales transactions, deliveries, and settlements. Assess the appropriate supply of vehicles and oversee the acquisition of vehicle inventory while collaborating closely with our skilled procurement team as well as leveraging from your own industry contacts. Monitor aged stock levels to ensure effective inventory management utilising our tested age stock management process. Analyse market conditions, customer demographics, past sales history, and emerging opportunities to provide strategic recommendations for short-term, medium-term, and long-term advertising and sales promotions. Manage the Salesforce CRM platform closely to enhance customer retention and monitor and maximiseprospective sales opportunities. Ensure that teams understand site policies, procedures, and sales systems. Understand the importance of clear communication and transparency with collages to maximise finance, warranty and additional revenue streams offered by supporting team members. Operations: Ensure compliance and full completion of all deal paperwork, including signed contracts, licensing, company details, trade documentation, settlements, deliveries, final costs, and commissions. Ensure the showroom is secure, well-lit, and maintained professionally to create an inviting environment for clients. Maintain class leading merchandising, showroom, and inventory presentation. Oversee and enhance the storage experience for clients. Marketing: Coordinate the vehicle stock booking process, ensuring timely preparation, photography, description writing, and web advertising. Collaborate with the group marketing team to effectively promote the dealership and vehicle sales across multiple platforms, including the web, electronic direct mail (EDM), and social media. Coordinate with sales team for the vehicle stock booking process, managing vehicle preparation, photography, description writing, and advertising on web platforms and Carsales within a prescribed timeline. Management: Responsible for individual sales and the overall profitability, long term growth and success of the business. Recruit, onboard, and monitor the performance of the CTS team. Provide leadership and coach the CTS team. Participate in the assessment and review of the CTS team. Lead and maintain exceptional customer service and client relations. Perform other duties as required.
