On behalf of Holliers Transport Group, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Transport Company Manager to join their leadership team and contribute to the continued growth and success of the organisation. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Operational Management: Oversee daily transport operations to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery Coordinate and manage the allocation of resources, including staff, vehicles, and equipment Implement and maintain systems to track fleet performance and productivity Staff Leadership: Recruit, train and supervise transport staff, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance for team development Compliance and Safety: Ensure all transport activities comply with relevant legislation, safety standards, and company policies Develop and enforce procedures for vehicle maintenance and inspections Customer Service Maintain and build relationship with clients, ensuring high standards of customer service Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Financial Oversight Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability of transport operations Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve financial performance Qualifications and Skills: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar Transport Company Manager Role. Strong leadership and management skills. Proven ability to manage operational budgets effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth understanding of transport and logistics regulations and industry best practices. Relevant qualification (at least a Diploma) Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $100,000 - $140,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
