We're seeking an exceptional Business Development Executive (Full-Time, Flexible Work) to join a rapidly growing startup in the event and hospitality industry. This role suits a sales professional with an events or hospitality background, with proven experience in outbound and proactive sales. Up to $100K Package (OTE) Fast Growing Startup Amazing Team Uncapped Commission Your Mission To bring Australia’s best event suppliers onto VenueNow. You’ll be responsible for signing up new suppliers and selling them an annual subscription to advertise on our platform. What You’ll Be Doing: Identify and reach out to potential suppliers across Australia (venues, photographers, caterers, entertainers, etc.) Sell subscription packages that help suppliers gain exposure and generate bookings through VenueNow Build and manage a pipeline of leads through a mix of LinkedIn, email, phone and directories Book and run meetings with suppliers to pitch the benefits of VenueNow Work closely with our team to continuously improve sales processes and supplier onboarding The Successful Candidate To be successful in this role, you will have Proven experience in outbound sales or business development Confident communicator who’s comfortable with cold calling and booking meetings A natural relationship builder who loves the events industry Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment “Rolls up Sleeve” attitude and motivated to get stuff done!
