Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body. Utilise a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injuries. Maintain treatment records and communicate with clients regarding their progress. You will perform the following duties: · Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body · Talking with clients to determine the required massage method · Assess client’s medical history, symptoms, and other relevant information before treatment · Prepare the massage oil and apply it to the skin · Apply proper pressure to the client to avoid injuries and bruising · Apply figure and hand pressure to specific points of the body · Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance · Utilise a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injuries · Record client’s condition and progress · Maintain treatment records You are expected to have: 1: Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent or three years work experience in similar role. 2: Good customer service skill.
