Job Title: Food Beverage and Gaming Attendant Job Summary: The Food Beverage and Gaming Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service in the areas of food, beverage, and gaming services. This role involves serving customers, handling transactions, maintaining cleanliness of the work area, and adhering to all policies and procedures. Primary Purpose: To provide a consistent and high-quality standard of food, beverage, and gaming services to all members and guests with the outcome of providing a positive customer experience. Skills: - Excellent communication skills - Customer service oriented - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail - Cash handling experience - Knowledge of gaming regulations (preferred) Responsibilities: - Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and beverage orders accurately - Serve food and drinks promptly - Handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness of dining areas - Monitor gaming activities - Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures Qualifications: - Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred but not required - Willingness to learn new skills -Certification or training in responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and responsible conduct in gaming (RCG)required About us The Canberra Southern Cross Club is one of Canberra’s largest private employers with four hospitality venues and several fitness centres across the region.
