The Team: The Information Coordination Centre (ICC) is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing systems, processes and practices for the effective handling of operational information coming into Sport Integrity Australia. The ICC works closely with other areas of Sport Integrity Australia, as well as engaging with Australian and international regulatory and law enforcement bodies. Specifically, the ICC: receives, triages, records and disseminates operational information prepares referrals and reports for both internal and external dissemination, such as those to law enforcement bodies and sports provides operational support (such as background checks, reporting coordination and meeting coordination) continually develops ICC capability and functions. The Role: This key leadership position is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing systems, processes and practices for the effective handling of operational information coming into the agency. The information Coordination Centre acts as the point of coordination for all operational information being received/handled by the agency including anti-doping and broader integrity matters and plays a central role in communication of operational information with stakeholder agencies and partners (as cleared and appropriate). The role also provides leadership for the agency's emerging Law Enforcement Partnership Program which engages with our law enforcement partners including Commonwealth and State and Territory jurisdictional law enforcement and intelligence agencies to further encourage and protect the integrity of sport The key duties of the position include The duties of the Director, Information Coordination Centre and Law Enforcement Partnerships will vary according to the needs of the executive and senior executive as informed by the Head of Anti-Doping Operations and include, but are not limited to: contributing as a member of Sport Integrity Australia's Senior Leadership Team ensuring effective performance of the Information Coordination Centre team in receiving, triaging, recording and disseminating operational information, combined with mentoring and education ensuring Sport Integrity Australia's systems, processes and practices for the recording, sharing and coordination of incoming operation information are consistent, effective and efficient maintaining sustainable and effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including national sporting organisations, Australian regulatory and law enforcement bodies and peak sporting bodies lead Sport Integrity Australia's Law Enforcement Partnership Program, to bring focus, coordination and commitment to the diverse range of initiatives identified at the domestic and international level, in partnership with law enforcement to ensure: a proactive agency posture in preventing integrity threats to sports where a criminal nexus exists maximise opportunities to share information and collaborate on activities to prevent and respond to integrity threats SIA is positioned to influence locally and globally through sport and crime partnerships to protect sports planning and managing the use of resources to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget identifying, recommending and implementing risk mitigation strategies to deliver Sport Integrity Australia's mission and objectives maintaining a high level of knowledge of relevant to sport integrity threats including doping, match fixing, safeguarding and illicit drug use in sport.
