Wood is currently sourcing experienced Painter & Blasters for an upcoming opportunity Offshore on Yolla and onsite at Bass Gas. We are looking for a candidate with strong commitment to safety, someone who enjoys working in a team, self-motivated and can prioritise work to meet deadlines. To be considered, applicants must have full Australian working rights . Responsibilities · Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces for painting · Apply protective coatings and finishes according to specifications Qualifications · Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Surface Finishing or Surface Preparation & Coating) preferred · Current MSIC and BOSIET for Offshore Painters · Construction Induction · High Risk Work Licence – WP – preferred · Work at Heights Certification – preferred · Experience in oil & Gas – preferred · Drivers Licence · Experience working in a multi-disciplined team highly regarded (Sheetmetal, Painting) · Demonstrated high commitment to safety · Commitment to HSE · Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
