We are currently seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team in Western Australia, based in our Rivervale office. We are working on some of WA's landmark transport projects and we are building our team for the future. The Opportunity The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for working with the project leadership in the running of the planning, scheduling, and project controls frameworks to ensure all resources are managed timely within key deadlines. Key responsibilities include: Lead and managed the UGL project controls and planning teams Ensure processes are in place to ensure time, cost, scope, quality, risk and resources are managed in line with established schedules and budgets Undertake detailed forensic planning and delay analysis to determine opportunities for commercial advantage or protection Prepare a suite of reports that demonstrates project performance Assist the Project Manager and Construction teams in the scheduling and tracking progress of the project schedule Development of detailed project schedules, S-curves and forecasts in accordance with the scope of works Requirements to be successful: 5 years experience in a Project Controls management position, preferably within major construction projects. Degree in Engineering or equivalent (desirable) Experience in multi-discipline infrastructure projects Experience in effectively reporting and communicating at a senior level with clients and internal stakeholders Strong background dealing with contractor organisations High proficiency and hands on experience using Primavera P6 Advanced Excel skills Experience managing and mentoring teams The above qualifications and experience requirements are a guide to what we think will contribute to the success of this role, however if you do not tick all the boxes and feel that you could still be a fit then please apply, all applications will be considered.
