Cooinbil Station is an 89,000-hectare property in the Riverina region, running a large-scale sheep breeding operation with trade and agistment cattle. The station includes native open plains and irrigated cropping areas, offering a diverse and rewarding work environment. We're seeking an experienced Station Hand to join our close-knit team. This hands-on role involves a mix of livestock work, maintenance, and general station duties. Key Responsibilities: Mustering and handling sheep General station operations including fencing and water runs Operating 230–300cc two-wheeled motorbikes Supporting a high standard of animal welfare Working independently and as part of a team Maintaining station infrastructure What You’ll Bring: Previous sheep and livestock handling experience Own well-trained working dogs Strong work ethic and positive attitude Confidence riding motorbikes Good communication and willingness to learn Reliability and the ability to work both alone and in a team Cooinbil is situated 25mins from Coleambally and within easy reach of major centres, approximately 1 hour from Griffith and 2 hours from Wagga Wagga. Coleambally offers access to preschool, primary, and high schools, and is a vibrant community with a range of local businesses, excellent sporting facilities, and a strong social culture. This is a live-on station role with accommodation for singles, couples, or families, and competitive pay based on experience.
